What do you wish were different in your life that you have avoided confronting?
What has held you back from addressing the issues or making the changes?
All too often we want to see things be different in our lives but we don’t want to take the steps necessary for change. It is almost easier in some ways to take an “ostrich approach” by putting our head in the sand and attempt to ignore the pain rather than to take charge and make change.
Often times, change comes in our lives when the pain of staying where we are is greater than the pain of moving in a different direction. Whether it is a relationship that is unhealthy that you know should end…a job that is unfulfilling and is a constant drain on you…a change in your exercise or eating routine that just seems to big to do make now…or any other area of life that you know deep down in inside needs to change, our inaction frequently takes us to a place where we are reacting rather than responding.
Don’t let fear of confrontation or the comfort of complacency keep you from making the changes you know you need to start in your life today. Everyone needs a RESET. Whether a radical RESET, a realigning RESET, or a refining RESET, change is part of life and those who are able to confront positively and make change in a healthy, constructive, and thoughtful way will always have a more fulfilling and happy life.
